BOUNTY
KILLER, aka The Warlord, Miss Ivy's Last Son, The 5-star
General, The Ghetto Gladiator and The Poor People's Governor.
Bounty Killer was born Rodney Price in the Kingston ghetto
of Trench Town on June 12, 1972. One of nine children,

14, he nearly fell victim to gun violence. While walking
home from school, he was hit by a stray bullet during
a gun battle between rival political factions. He began
performing under the name Bounty Hunter. He and his friends
would hang around King Jammy's recording studio hoping
to catch a break. Eventually, he met King Jammy's' brother,
Uncle T, who produced his first recording in 1990. Read
