A new queen has been crowned for Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented Teen 2019. On September 7, patrons gathered at the Phoenix Theatre to enjoy entertainment from 14 of Jamaica’s most talented teens between ages 14-18. The Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented Teen Competition is staged by Promotional Links Industries under the theme ‘Empower our girls’. The evening began with an exciting opening number and introduction of the contestants.
Contestants featured were Evonique Campbell (Miss CC’s Natural Fruits and Juices), Abigail Trae Ann Wilkins (Miss UTech), Anna-Kaye Jones (Miss Royale Computers), Chante Spencer (Miss Stroll Property Services), Chesine McDonald (Miss Nurses Association of Jamaica), Akeela Davis (Miss Jamaica Collections), Naomi Mohamed (Miss Rudolf Thompson Customs Broker), Shaniel Lundy (Miss Tropical Court Hotel), Rushel Cephas (Miss Max Mar Graphics), Bretaney Smith (Miss Prudence Style & Fashion), Davia Symthe (Miss Weddings JA), Krissanay Campbell (Miss Police Co-oporative Credit Union), Paige Hall (Miss Teen Expo), Africe Omal (Miss Kremi).
After the introductions came the talent segment. There were quite a variety of talents displayed, including dub poetry, pop songs, reggae, folk and dancehall dances. Loud cheers from the supporters of the contestants were rampant throughout the segment.
After the talent segment, the young contestants paraded in evening wear, showing their beautiful gowns. Then the top 10 contestants were announced. The show proceeded with the intense interview segment, where the top 10 contestants answered opinion-based questions. Thereafter, the sectional prizes were announced.

The former queen, Kemoy Perry, made her final walk as Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented Teen, making way for the new queen; then the final the results were announced. fifth place went to Abigail Trae Ann Wilkins (Miss UTech), fourth place – Naomi Mohamed (Miss Rudolf Thompson Customs Broker), third place – Chesine McDonald (Miss Nurses Association of Jamaica), second place – Kaye Jones (Miss Royale Computers), first place – Krissanay Campbell, Miss Police Co-oporative Credit Union.
Prizes were donated from World Brand Service, Curves, St Ives, Royal Computers, DCut and Promotional Links Industries.
