A splash of sound

Ryan Blake, Youthlink Writer

The Klip Xtreme BlueRain waterproof speaker is an ideal product for those who transform our shower time into a recording session. Packaged in a clear, hard easy-to-open plastic cube which can also be used to safely store the speaker when not in use. The speaker comes with a suction cup for easy mounting in the shower, and a USB cable.

Being waterproof, this speaker allows you to enjoy your favourite music at the beach, pool or any environment with water interaction. Pairing this speaker is simple, and is indicated by sound and the flashing LED light inside of the power button. Other controls on the unit are for volume, skipping tracks and an answer/end call button. The BlueRain speaker also allows for hands-free calling, ideal for doing chores, such as dishwashing. The audio output of the speaker is 3W, and while it does not deliver a powerful audio experience, it makes up for it in its versatility.

Charging the unit took under two hours with an adaptive charger and the unit provided more than six hours of continuous playback. This waterproof speaker is compatible with all Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  • Waterproof design - ideal for beach/pool days.
