My comments: Like all the great dancehall artistes of our generation, Vybz Kartel has seen his fair share of feuds in the music industry. He is known for lyrics with blatant sexual connotations and violence-related suggestions. Because of this, he is favoured by most of the teen population, but the adult population, not so much. However, one can't deny the international acclaim that he has received after only being on the scene for just a couple of years. Having worked with names such as Missy Elliot, Jim Jones, Jay-Z, Akon and Pharrell Williams, Kartel has done more than some dancehall has-beens will ever do.
